You can read every page of this site without giving it your name, signing in or agreeing to anything. This page explains the few things that do happen when you visit, and why nothing more is asked of you.

Counting

The site uses a first-party visit beacon to count its own traffic. It runs only when you arrive from a search engine. When it runs, it records four items: the path of the page you opened, the type of event (a page view or a click), the name of the search engine that referred you, and the text of any outbound button you click. This data is used only to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons, and for nothing else. It does not include your name, e-mail address, account identifier or payment details. It is not shared with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services.

Session

To keep one page view from being counted twice, the site keeps a single flag in your browser for the current session. It holds no personal data and is not a persistent identifier. Its only purpose is to make sure a visit is counted once. This page does not state how long the counted visit records are kept. Because no such period has been verified, none is described here. What has been verified is that these records hold no personal data about any individual visitor.

Hosting

The site is a set of static files served by a content delivery network. As the hosting provider, that network processes the technical data that comes with every request your browser makes. Each page is self-contained, and its fonts are embedded locally. Every file a page needs comes from this domain, so no outside host receives information from your browser while a page is displayed.

Absences

Several things are missing by design, and they are why this site asks for no consent, no account and no personal detail:

  • There are no forms, so there is nowhere on the site to type in information about yourself.
  • There is no third-party analytics. Traffic counting stays first-party.
  • There are no external subresources. Nothing is loaded from another domain.
  • There are no contact channels. There is no login, no registration and no user account.

Because the site offers no channel for receiving personal data, do not send personal details through any route that claims to represent it.

Links

Some pages contain outbound links to third-party sites. When you follow one, your browser opens a separate site. That site receives the request directly from your browser and keeps its own record of it. This site does not control the privacy practices of those destinations. Their handling of your data is governed by their own terms, not by this page. Review those terms before you share anything with them.
